Zombies Need To Quit Jerking You Around
What should you do in this bleak world of innumberable zombie movies but so few good ones? If you don’t care what you watch and just want something with zombies, by all means pick something off the rental store shelf that went straight to DVD and have a blast. If you’re out for something less revolting, turn to the classics. If you go for the classsics, you’re in luck. Nowadays you’ve got oldschool classics and recent classics to pick from.
If you feel like hitting up the old school go with Romero. Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead (78) and Day of the Dead are all great. Return of the Living Dead features some great 80s rockers, invincible zombies and it’s pretty funny too. Don’t forget about all the italian zombie movies. Fulci’s ‘Zombi’ is a must see.
If you want something newer go with 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead 2004 or a little movie from Hong Kong called Bio-Zombie. Bio-Zombie is definately worth a look - it has alot of little touches that american movies just don’t get.
