Zombies are everywhere. What do you do? They’re closing in on you and your loved ones. Make a choice. Hope it’s the right one. Flight of the Living Dead or Day of the Dead : Necropolis. Return of the Living Dead 6 or 28 Weeks Later. Thriller or Indian Thriller. Zombies have invaded your viewing choices now more than ever.
What should you do in this bleak world of innumberable zombie movies but so few good ones? If you don’t care what you watch and just want something with zombies, by all means pick something off the rental store shelf that went straight to DVD and have a blast. If you’re out for something less revolting, turn to the classics. If you go for the classsics, you’re in luck. Nowadays you’ve got oldschool classics and recent classics to pick from.
If you feel like hitting up the old school go with Romero. Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead (78) and Day of the Dead are all great. Return of the Living Dead features some great 80s rockers, invincible zombies and it’s pretty funny too. Don’t forget about all the italian zombie movies. Fulci’s ‘Zombi’ is a must see.
If you want something newer go with 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead 2004 or a little movie from Hong Kong called Bio-Zombie. Bio-Zombie is definately worth a look - it has alot of little touches that american movies just don’t get.

Whatever you do, don’t let the glut of crappy zombie movies jerk you around like you see in the video below:

For Episode 0 of Porn Butcher I did a little parody of the 1986 classic “Transformers: The Movie.” As you can see below, the transformation of the Jizz Mopper into the Porn Butcher is a rather tight parody of the scene in which Unicron transforms disgraced decpticon leader Megatron into Galvatron, his new number one guy.

It’s vitally important that we remeber classic cinema in this age of disposable entertainment.
